Board of Directors Special Meeting:

CSBG Organizational Standards Compliance Review

Date: Monday, August 25, 2025

Time: 12:00 PM

Location: 610 South Biscoe Street, Helena, AR 72342

This Special Session of the Board of Directors of Mid-Delta Community Services, Inc. (M-DCS) is convened to review and act upon the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Organizational Standards requiring formal compliance actions. In accordance with 42 U.S.C. 9908 and Arkansas Office of Community Services requirements, the Board of Governors must demonstrate oversight, governance, and accountability for adherence to all CSBG Organizational Standards.

The purpose of this meeting is to:

  1. Review each identified Standard requiring Board action.
  2. Adopt corrective compliance measures.
  3. Assign responsibilities and deadlines for full compliance documentation.

Executive Summary

M-DCS has been identified as requiring Board review and action to achieve compliance with multiple CSBG Organizational Standards. These Standards cover Governance, Finance, Community Needs Assessment, Strategic Planning, and Data/Performance Management. Failure to demonstrate compliance may result in findings during federal or state monitoring reviews. Therefore, Board action is necessary to adopt, document, and implement these Standards.
